I had the most amazing birthday ever! It started out by making my very first turkey. I pulled it out of the fridge and was like "ok it doesn't look that bad"...then I took it out of the plastic and saw it for what it really was...a DEAD BIRD! Around this time, Mia made her way over. (she never cooks...she doesn't know the first thing about turkeys...which made our morning interesting!) We poked at it with a few spoons and pulled the gross stuff out. We were so clueless. So we rubbed him with butter and stuck him in the oven. We started talking about naming him and I said "we're going to name him and eat him?" And she heard "we're going to name him Ian". lol...and his name was found! So Ian enjoyed his time in the sauna. He kept lying to us though. He kept beeping and then we had to poke him in a different spot. Then he was happy. So while Ian was getting all toasty we started on the other food. We made some mash and stuffing. I taught Mia how to make deviled eggs! She did awesome! I was proud of her. So halfway through the day we transported everything over to Travis' house. We hung out and ate TONS of food! It was awesome! Near the end of the night we went around the circle and everyone who spoke a different language sang me happy birthday in their language. It was sooo cool! There was Arabic, Afrikaans, Creole, Mandarin, and Cantonese. It was so cool. Then a few of us when over to my place for some pina coladas! Twas great fun! Here are some pictures!

Ohh you are making me want deviled eggs. Happy birthday!
I've never tried deviled eggs in my life. And I'm quite positive I never will (I don't do eggs...I've always wanted to, but I can't)...
