T.G.I.Not a lifetime commitment!

The Good:
So I had my first day at T.G.I.Fridays on Thursday. It went well. They were all very nice and very helpful. I had a great time. Basically my job there is to clean tables, clear plates, put out cutlery and do bathroom checks. Easy. I think I might actually like it. The hours are weird thought. They tell you when you start your shift...but you kinda have to guess when your done. Its weird. The pay is ok. It's $8.50. Which isn't great. But if i do good they will raise it to 9. Oh and I get tips too...not sure how that works. I think the servers have to split their tips with other people in the restaurant. Oh another good thing is that I don't work Thursday mornings so I can still do Nursery at the church.

The Bad:
So my shifts kind of suck. They might change...I hope they change. But looking at this week and next week I am working Wednesday night and Friday nights. Which means I can't go to C&C or Girls Bible Study. Yet on all the other days when I don't have prier commitments they don't have me scheduled! Its so annoying.

The Ugly:
Uniforms...ug... I hate uniforms. This means that I have to do my laundry more often then I do. I hate laundry! It wouldn't be so bad if I had my own washer and dryer. But sharing with the building is not fun. Not to mention that the drying barely dry the clothes and you end up paying like $5 just to get your laundry to dry.
